Who we are

Remotee (remotee.com.au) provides offshore staffing, contractor-of-record payroll and remote IT services to Australian businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you contact us, use a calculator or assessment on our site, download a guide, or submit a lead form on our website or through our advertising (including Facebook and Instagram lead forms), we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name and any details you choose to share about your staffing needs.

We also collect standard analytics data about how our website is used, including pages visited, device type and approximate location, through tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide the resource or estimate you requested, deliver and improve our services, and contact you about services we believe are relevant to your business. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Advertising and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement, including the Meta Pixel and Google tags. If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the details you enter with us and handles that submission under its own data policy as well as this one.

You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings and through the ad preference tools provided by Meta and Google.

Storage and security

Personal information is stored in reputable third-party systems (such as our email, CRM and analytics providers) that maintain their own security controls. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access.
